They released a self-titled EP in 1984, which peaked at No. 59 on the UK Singles Chart. They then recorded their debut album, . The album's sound ranged from 1970s styled funk to New Wave to soulful ballads. After the demise of the band, went on to form in 1985 along with and , while formed .
