Review by Florence Villas

The Isham Jones Orchestra's album, "Down Among The Sleepy Hills Of Tennessee Don't Cry Swanee," is a masterpiece of early jazz music. The album features a collection of 12 tracks that showcase the band's exceptional musicianship and Isham Jones' brilliant compositions.

From the opening track, "I'm Satisfied With You," to the closing number, "Swanee," the album takes the listener on a journey through the sounds of early jazz. The band's tight arrangements and exceptional soloists are on full display throughout the album, with each track featuring a different aspect of the band's sound.

Standout tracks include "The One I Love Belongs To Somebody Else," which features a beautiful vocal performance by Frank Sylvano, and "What's The Use Of Loving," which showcases the band's exceptional rhythm section.
