Smart Alex, the fourth studio album by the British punk rock band Adicts, is a quintessential example of the band's unique sound and style. Released in 1985, the album features 12 tracks that showcase the band's signature blend of punk rock, pop melodies, and flamboyant theatricality.

The Ode to Joy track really shows that this band knew dynamic, the bass playing under the guitar, the drums holding down the beat. These guys are criminally underrated on the grand scale.
